2011 in Review

Blog production really took a nosedive in 2011. Something about raising a 4-year-old and a baby sapped the writing energy out of us. So to kind of make up for it, here's a big photo dump from the year, pictures from various events in the lives of Tai and Kenji and a few notable items from their parents.

At about 4 months old, Kenji was 26 inches, 16.5 pounds. 95th percentile at the time.

Tai was waiting to be Spider-Man this Halloween, while Kenji wore the Elmo suit.

So ... among the more unfortunate parts of 2011 was Gavin getting laid off from his job of six years (along with 2/3 of the staff). This led to a summer off and Gavin cooking more meals than usual, like this "healthy" plate of nachos.

At least "Kenji the corn monster" ate healthy.

Not sure why people keep spending money after getting laid off, but I did. My main purchase was a used bike. I hadn't owned one since I was a kid.
