Big Trees

We went camping at Calaveras Big Trees with Tai's preschool friends and their families. It was a very relaxing place, with lots of space for kids to run around.

Cars 2 at PIXAR

For Tai's birthday, he received two tickets to a pre-screening of "Cars 2" at Pixar, where his friend Berge's father works. Talk about the ultimate place to view "Cars 2"! And it did not disappoint. Tai stuck with the movie the whole way through. And afterwards, we got to tour some of the Pixar campus. This is one birthday gift not to be forgotten.

Tai's 4th Birthday

Before we knew it, Tai turned four years old. This year we held a birthday party at our house. His preschool friends and their families joined us, as well as other family and friends. Tons of food all evening long. Most of the pictures are of cake, though. Oh yes, the theme was Cars, Tai's favorite.

What changes at 4? Tai not only talks a lot (including talking back at times), but he's creative and imaginative. And he's more observant and starting to make more sense of what's going on around him. It's neat to see, even if it means time is flying by.
