We took Tai to his first baseball game last week to watch the A's play the Mariners. From the fourteenth row behind third base, we saw Ichiro make a diving catch and Kurt Suzuki whack a line-drive single. Tai got to watch his parents eat kettle corn, before conking out in the fifth inning of a 0-0 game. As we left, we bought him a baby blue A's cap from the souvenir stand, then drove home a happy family. What an excellent way to spend an evening outdoors. Not bad, considering two out of three of us don't care much for baseball (yet).
